What's New

We have now entered a brand-new year, 2009!

As you know, on January 20, the United States of America gets a new president. On January 21 and 22, thousands of people converge on Washington, D.C. to participate in the annual March for Life, on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the decision that legalized abortion in this country.

A special Holy Hour will be prayed simultaneously at parishes, college campuses, hospitals, convents, and on the buses carrying our teens and seminarians to Washington, D.C. St. Francis Chapel is very happy to participate in this Archdiocesan event.

It begins with what we call the Novena of Divine Mercy for Life, prayed at every Mass from January 13 through 21 in preparation for the Holy Hour.

The Holy Hour for Life itself will take place on Wednesday, January 21 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., right here at St. Francis Chapel. Please consider joining us for this special event.
